MUSIC IN SALADO, Texas, Inc., founded by Drs. John and Kim Van Cura, is a non-profit organization devoted to presenting classical music in the central Texas area. Programs are educational and informative, and designed to provide the opportunity for each individual to personally experience music in an intimate setting which uplifts the spirit and helps to heal a broken world.

Performances are presented by professional musicians in private homes and gardens and public facilities in the Village of salado.  MUSIC IN SALADO has produced one-act opera education for school children and the general public, and featured chamber music and vocal music concerts.
